Capital Grant Applications- OPEN!
Countryside Stewardship capital grants are now open for new applications. There is £150 million of funding available for farmers for environmental improvements such as hedgerows, improving water and air quality and managing boundaries.
The capital grants can be used to deliver standalone improvements or alongside existing SFI and CS schemes.
With the reopening, there are many items available through 6 groups of funding:

Air Quality

Assessments
-
Boundaries, Trees and Orchards

Natural Flood Management
-
Improvements
-
Water Quality
You can apply for items in any of these groups. But there is a cap on funding for 4 groups:

£25,000 for water quality, air quality and natural flood management

£35,000 for boundaries, trees and orchards
You can apply at any time. However, the RPA will only accept 1 successful application per SBI per calendar year.
